Humanity Now is a non-profit organization committed to working with the homeless, not just for them. We believe in counting their needs over our own, and building relationships as a means of getting them off the street. For every shirt we sell, we’ll give a shirt to our homeless…

Mom-I should have inherited money, I had weathy relatives.

Dad-why didn't they come through? I mean that is why i married you. Or did you just think I married you for your child barring hips?

Mom-uhh both?

Everything I once held dear, I count it all as loss.

Lead me to the cross, where your love poured out.

Bring me to my knees, Lord I lay me down.
Rid me of myself, I belong to you.

ah. yes.

I even added music to it!

Glitter Nails

I've never been much of a glitter girl, but today I was feelin fierce, which made me think of glitter, don't ask why, I couldn't give you an explanation if I tried. It just works that way.

Believe it.

On a lighter note...VINYL everywhere.

My collection is growing and I'm just so dang excited!!

Oh and I'd like to add, the below post about what was on my heart was posted while I was half asleep in my bed, I don't even remember posting it, but it made total sense and it really has been on my heart. Quite frankly I'm pretty proud of myself as a writer right about now that I can make that much sense at 7:43 in the morning.

Somthing that's been on my heart

1 John 4:21

Talks about loving one another. Something I've always thought I've done, but really if I'm honest with myself I think I love all, but I find that I don't love them as much if I've had to "forgive" them.

Like I'm holding a grudge. And that isn't like me.

I've forgiven for the moment and then just stuff it back in the corner of my mind until it just so eagerly happens to come up again and BAM there it is, heavier and more distraught than before.

I don't want this burden on me any longer.

So here God, take me and heal me. Help me forgive past events/past people/past actions and let me love them FULLY.

wow

I feel like a fool for complaining about walking across campus. At least I have legs. But, Nick you and I do share a common interest...an undying love for OUR GOD and through him we can do anything.

Thanks daddy for sending me this video. I sure do love you.

I'm ready to pee my pants if needed. (hopefully I won't).

Baking

some yummy goodies.
I woke up at 11 today, what a delight to sleep in.
Went to lunch with my lovely friend Hannah, where we sat with Chris and Megan. Had some interesting conversations, to say the least.
After lunch, Hannah and I went on a bike/roller blade ride around campus.
Once Hannah's ankles started hurting she went back and I took some time to myself and rode a little longer.
I was in a "working out" mood today.
I rode to the boys plays. He's sweet.
We laid and watched Modern Family. A new show his oldest brother raved about and I must say it was pretty funny. It actually reminds me of The Office, only instead of being based in an office, it's based in homes.
Then we got a call from his dad to go on a mission for some candy bars.
After not being able to find the right kind, he kindly dropped me back off at my apartment and we parted ways. I decided not to go up to his parents this weekend and take some time to myself.
But I do miss him.
I dozed off for a bit.
Then woke up to give Nicho a hair cut. Him and his girlfriend are absolutely precious.
I went to dinner with Andrew and his friends. There was yummy chili in the caf tonight.
Ever since then I've sorta just been lazy.
Not much of an exciting Friday, but it sure does feel good to not have to do anything or be anywhere for once.

I was reminded by a darling new friend of mine today that; HE is rarely early, but ALWAYS on time.
God, you are there in my living. There in my breathing. Thank you.

Oscar de la Renta

It's that time of year again. Fashion Week. Since I'm something of a wanna be at this point in my life, I spent my day drooling over the runway shows via Style.com . These are three awesome looks for Oscar de la Renta('s) Fall 2010 ready to wear collection. I am drawn to these mostly because I could see myself wearing them... or rather I want to be wearing them. I think these particular looks were the most "contemporary" in his collection. I say this because the collection in general seemed to reference early 1900's style/some Victorian/some 1940's fashion. Either way, very glamorous as a whole... but what else would I expect?
Just painted my phalanges a lovely shade of teal.

Twins

Right?
Oh daddy I love you.

Last Night

My amazing iPhone unexpectedly crashed. For no reason. I left my phone on my bed, came back to receive my my new message and the screen was flashing all these different colors and lines followed by a white screen.
So naturally I call the trusty 611 number and get assistance only to find out I need to go get a new phone. Tyler (that's the trusty 611 operator that helped me) told me to backup my contacts on iTunes so I did and then I was off to the apple store.
Not only did it take a long time to get help there, the guy helping me told me there was water spots on my phone. I thought to myself "this isn't possible, I've never dropped it in water or even brought it near water for that matter". After he told me there was no possible way of him getting me a new iPhone, I just simply walked across the street to the AT&T store just to see what they would have to say. I love AT&T help. They are so kind and always striving to get exactly what the customer wants. There is where they said SURE! But and that's a BIG BUT, I couldn't do anything due to the fact I'm still under my parents plan and I need them present to make any sort of changes to the account. Which makes total sense.
So on that note, I drove from Victoria Gardens to South Corona to meet my dad at another AT&T store where they even UPGRADED my 3G to a 3GS!! How stoked on life do you think I was...SO STOKED. Oh and on top of it being a 3GS I went from a 3G 8GB to a 3GS 16GB!!! So sick.

One of my favorites...

next movie night. for sure.
