it's a week late, but...

even though handsome just LOVES taking pictures with me.
he has his moments where he doesn't absolutely love it so much.

this was one of those moments.

What do you wish?

i wish kolin and i were swimming in a big pool at this very moment. it's just so hot, and i wanna practice some pas de deux moves in the water!

i also wish apartments weren't so expensive to rent. $Too.much money for a teeny tiny 2 bedroom shoe box with no garage or yard and only 2 closets? who buys these places, people?

i wish poptarts (specifically the brown cinnamon sugar flavor) were a healthy snack that was recommended for your daily diet.

i wish people driving behind me at the stop light wouldn't honk the second the light turns green. it makes me all flustered. and frankly, i think it's rude.

i wish angry birds wasn't so much fun to play. I'm losing valuable sleep at our house thanks to those clever pigs with mustaches.

i wish i liked spending more time in the kitchen. 

and... i wish it was wednesday already.

I've been preoccupied

with this young fellow.
and I don't mind one bit.

He went on vacation with me and my family for an entire 9 days total and guess what? He STILL likes me.

SCORE.

Mission Arizona = success

So two weeks ago, Heidi, Kaylee and myself were at dland the day after the boys left for choir tour, sadly we already missed them and came up with the idea of surprising them on one of their last shows in Phoenix AZ. It was SO hard to keep a secret from Kolin SHEESH, never again, well maybe ;)

kolin was seriously, one of the last guys out from back stage, he was texting me, I told him I was in church, little did he know I was at the church he was singing at!

• One week from today I get to see Kolin home from tour.
• I'm going to Disneyland this week.

Also, I had a lovely time up in Big Bear with the family. Basically, my mom is amazing and she's a trooper for being sick through mother's day weekend among many other reasons, she's just awesome. I love you mama.

Two weeks will go by so fast.

I woke up at 11 today, what a delight to sleep in.

Went to lunch with my lovely friend Hannah, where we sat with Chris and Megan. Had some interesting conversations, to say the least.

After lunch, Hannah and I went on a bike/roller blade ride around campus.

Once Hannah's ankles started hurting she went back and I took some time to myself and rode a little longer.

I was in a "working out" mood today.

I rode to the boys plays. He's sweet.

We laid and watched Modern Family. A new show his oldest brother raved about and I must say it was pretty funny. It actually reminds me of The Office, only instead of being based in an office, it's based in homes.

Then we got a call from his dad to go on a mission for some candy bars.

After not being able to find the right kind, he kindly dropped me back off at my apartment and we parted ways. I decided not to go up to his parents this weekend and take some time to myself.

But I do miss him.

I dozed off for a bit.

Then woke up to give Nicho a hair cut. Him and his girlfriend are absolutely precious.

I went to dinner with Andrew and his friends. There was yummy chili in the caf tonight.

Ever since then I've sorta just been lazy.

Not much of an exciting Friday, but it sure does feel good to not have to do anything or be anywhere for once.

I was reminded by a darling new friend of mine today that; HE is rarely early, but ALWAYS on time.

God, you are there in my living. There in my breathing. Thank you.

I almost forgot

to mention Big Bear...
